A Storm is Brewing, Gold Coast

These photos were taken last week as a storm was rolling through the city.  Just a few minutes later I was able to watch the rain quickly fall from the sky from 200 feet in the air.  Seeing the rain begin to fall from this view is quite different from being in a vehicle or walking along the street.

The bright band of lights illuminated from the Hancock Center is hard to ignore.

The fog gives the illusion that the top of the Hancock Center is bursting into pink flames.  Gotta love October in Chicago.
