Chicago Views I: North LaSalle

Unfortunately I haven't had much time to get out with my camera lately.  I'm going to begin posting a series of images of different areas of the downtown skyline taken throughout 2011.  I've been searching through my database trying to find views of Chicago that aren't as well-known to those who don't live here.  We are expecting our first serious snow accumulation in the city beginning early this morning.  Hopefully I'll be able to get out there and shoot some wintery images in the next couple of days.

Believe it or not but in this image alone there are about 50 to 60 places to live in Chicago.  In Old Town (foreground) and the Gold Coast (background) you usually have a few options.  Here you can choose from storefronts or high-rises.
